- TAGGING → Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron
- TIME FRAME → Monday night
- LOCATION → Cory and Dianna’s place
- GENERAL NOTES → Hope this is okay!
Cory felt a little nervous as he rode in the cab next to his wife. It had been awhile since the two had spent quality time together and he wasn’t sure what to expect. Emotionally he felt like he was on some sort of unpredictable roller coaster that was just making him unbelievably dizzy. He wanted this night to be special and he was hoping that Dianna and him could forget all their problems and worries just for now. It wasn’t a lot to ask for and Cory was hoping he could manage it. He wanted things to be normal between them again. His affair with Lea had just made Di and him drift a part even more and he wasn’t sure how much their relationship could be repaired, but he was hoping there was still a chance for them. At times, like in public, everything seemed okay, but then others times their relationship seemed slightly off.
The cab pulled up in front of their place and Cory quickly got out and walked around the car to open Dianna’s door for her. The wine they had brought from the bar currently sat in the brown paper bag that Cory grasped in his hand. Once Dianna was out of the car, Cory closed the door and walked to the front passenger door in order to hand the cab driver their fair. He then turned back to his wife and slid an arm around her shoulders. “Alright, baby. Let’s get upstairs and enjoy this fine wine.” He flashed her a goofy smile and planted a kiss against her temple. This simple interaction between them made him feel more relaxed and he smiled at her once again. They needed this. A night away from the club and a chance to just spend time together. He loved Dianna and he wanted to make her happy. Even if that meant his being unhappy. During his trip to Brooklyn, Cory had realized that he did still love Dianna, but he was also starting to believe that he loved Lea. In what way did he love both of them and what was he going to do about it though?
Cory led Dianna upstairs into the warmth of their apartment. He helped her slide out of her jacket, planting a kiss on the side of her neck as he did, and placed it on the coat rack next to her door. “Let’s get some glasses for this wine, shall we?”
